I am a Plastic Surgeon with extensive experience in Plastic
and Reconstructive Surgery and with special training and
interest in Hand and Microsurgery .

Plastic Surgery' from Royal CoBege Of
Surgeons Of England and a 'Certificate of
Training' from British Association Of
Plastic Surgeons - June 1994 to May 1997.

Medical College in March 1993.
- DNB (Diplomate of National Board) in

SUMMARY OF CLINICAL EXPERIENCE:
A total of 20 years full time experience in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and its allied subspeciaHties in the setting of regional and subregional units both in India and U.K.
Ten years experience at consultant level and 6 years experience at Registrar and Senior Registrar level in Plastic Surgery in a variety of hospital settings with on caD responsibilities for bums and acute plastic surgical traumas.
Hand Surgery:
Extensive experience in acute band traumas including major crush injuries, replantations and post trauma reconstruction.
Experience in correction of congenital and acquired band deformities including microvascular transfer of toe for thumb reconstruction.
Experience in surgery for neuropathic and arthritic band .
Experience in management of brachial plexus injury
Limb Trauma:
Provision of early skin cover in lower limb trauma cases as a part of lower limb trauma team.
Microsurgery:
Proficiency in microsurgical repairs of nerves and vessels.
Expertise in various microsurgical &ee tissue transfer techniques and replantations of limbs and digits.
Bums:
Experience in resuscitation and early management of severe burns.
Trained in the largest burns unit in U.K. in modem methods of bum management including early surgery and post bum reconstruction.
Experience in harvest, storage and use of cadaveric homograft for skin bank.
Cosmetic Surgery:
Wide experience in all types of cosmetic surgery operations, liposuction and body contouring surgery.
Breast reconstruction:
Competent of providing Unmediate and late breast reconstruction by both prosthetic and autologous methods
Cleft surgery:
Considerable experience in various aspects of cleft surgery including repair of wide and bilateral clefts, craniofacial clefts, palate fistula repair, alveolar bone grafting and cleft rhinoplasty.
Craniofacial Surgery:
Experience of working in a ' Supraregional Craniofacial Unit' in U.K.
Involvement in craniofacial correction of congenital skull deformities
Exposure to craniofacial approach to the treatment of facial fractures and head & neck and base of skull tumours.
Head & Neck Surgery:
Experience in resection and reconstruction of major head and neck cancers including the use of free tissue transfer techniques for reconstruction.
Frequent participation in multidisciplinary care of facial trauma. . Experience in correction of various congenital and acquired facial deformities including surgery for facial palsy.
Urogenital Reconstruction:
First hand training with Dr Bracka who is a world authority in genitourinary
reconstructive surgery.
Proficiency in hypospadias and epispadias surgery .
Experience in adult urogenital reconstructive surgery including repair of urethral strictures by oral and bladder mucosal grafting, Dr Bracka's new technique of conservative resection and reconstruction in cases of penile carcinoma, penile reconstruction and correction of peyronies disease.
